OMG Laura, thank you so much for such an insightful article. I used to work for Emirates as a Cabin Crew for 5 years, I reached to Premium Cabin position but I quit last year and moved to Portugal to reunite with my boyfriend.
I was burnt out completely mentally and physically. It took me almost a year to get over it. I am still suffering now from it. When I moved to Lisbon, I was scared as hell that I would be unemployed since I did not know Portuguese very well at that time. I decided to take a barber course. It was kinda failed. Don’t get me wrong, I was a really really good barber but I did not feel the job is for me.
Then I went back to Uni to study Marketing, after one semester I found my favorite career post cabin crew disaster, it is Copywriting, Blogging, Content and Digital Market, Personal Branding. I just love it so much. I dropped out from college now, it is not for me at all. It is outdated and a waste of time.
I will build my own empire related to this Digital Marketing field as I am really good at and passionate about. I am ready for a commitment.
Thank you so much for such an inspiration.
